TRUCK DRIVER
YEM has several positions available. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic truck drivers to join our team. We have full-time and casual positions available.
About the role
General operation of Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle including general driving in line with NSW/ACT road rules, loading, tipping and entering and exiting work sites.
Applicants may be required to be on call for shift work on weekends working in the ACT.
Qualifications and experience
The applicant shall possess:
- Australian heavy vehicle driving licence (HR)
- at least 12 months experience in the operation of a HR vehicle
- a safe driving record and history
- a positive and high regard for safety policies and procedures
- extensive knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
- a reliable and flexible attitude
- a professional work ethic
- good organisational and communication skills
- safety training in White Card and Asbestos Awareness

BACKHOE OPERATOR
YEM is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic backhoe operators to join our team. We have full-time and casual positions available.
Applicants may be required to be on call for shift work on weekends working in the ACT.
About the role
As an experienced Backhoe operator you should have familiarity and capability to operate CAT and Volvo machines. Your previous work experience should include:
- working in tight restricted areas
- loading and unloading trucks
- digging around underground services
- performing daily maintenance and safety checks
- working in close proximity to other employees, ground personnel, plant and equipment in the field.
Qualifications and experience
- typically, 3 to 5 years’ experience within the construction industry
- 2 to 3 years’ experience operating a backhoe
- backhoe competency ticket
- full drivers’ licence
- a positive and high regard for safety policies and procedures
- a reliable and flexible attitude
- a professional work ethic
- excellent organisational and communication skills
- safety training in White Card and Asbestos Awareness.
