Andrew Field manages the business and he is extensively experienced in all aspects of earth moving and excavation. His industry knowledge and skills are comprehensive with 26 years on-the-job experience.
At Yass Earth Movers we specialise in all types of earth moving and operate a wide range of plant equipment. We are leading the way in technology with the latest Komatsu and CAT machinery.
Our bulldozers, graders, excavators, and backhoes are equipped with a wide range of attachments, automatic laser leveling, integrated 3D GNSS machine control and guidance systems, GPS systems 2D and 3D complement our fleet.
Our fleet of truck and dogs, tippers and water carts are in excellent condition and well maintained. Our haulage capacity and flexibility is extensive – where we have the ability to change configurations quickly to meet specific project demands.
Our operators are highly skilled and experienced and can be relied upon to provide a very efficient professional service. Many of our staff have been with us long-term which can be attributed to our positive workplace culture. Our operators are key to our successful earth moving operations.

Over the years Yass Earth Movers has worked on many projects including, rural (dams and erosion control), trenching, subdivisions, detail footing and excavations, house sites, horse arenas, road construction, tennis courts and other general excavation work.
We have worked on some large road construction projects for Abi Group, RTA (Transport for NSW), BMD Constructions, Thiess and Leightons.
